Our Story
Higher Ground Consulting (HGC) was founded in 2010 to provide practical expertise for projects involving earth, water, and the environment. As HGC grew, the demand for renewable energy simultaneously began to thrive. Starting with foundations and water management for solar, wind, and pumped hydropower storage projects, the sector grew into renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and electrical vehicle charging solutions. To better serve our client’s needs, we created Grounded Renewables, a dedicated group to provide solutions for all aspects of renewal energy projects.
Specializing in Civil, Geotechnical, Hydrotechnical, and Environmental Engineering, Grounded Renewables brings a pragmatic approach to solving engineering problems in the renewable energy space.
